Areas of interest: Musculoskeletal conditions affecting the spine and extremities including arthritis, bursitis, tendonitits, sprains/strains. Difficulty with walking, impaired balance or falls.Entrapment neuropathies including carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy, peroneal neuropathy.Work injuries (provider for BWC).Rehabilitation needs following a neurologic disease or insult such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease.Evaluation and treatment of spasticity (increased muscle tone) secondary to neurologic conditions.
Procedures offered:Chemodenervation (i.e. Botox injections) for spasticity management in neurologic diseases.Nerve conduction studies (NCV) and electromyography (EMG).Joint, tendon, bursa, and muscle injections and iontophoresis (electric stimulation driven delivery of medication through skin without needle injection).Knee joint viscosupplementation (i.e. Hyalgan) for osteoarthritis.Osteopathic Manipulation.Disability examinations and independent medical examinations.
